1,169,288. Antibacterial laminates. HERCULITE PROTECTIVE FABRICS CORP. 16 Oct., 1967 [10 Nov., 1966], No. 46966/67. Heading B5N. [Also in Division A5] An antibacterial sheet material comprises a base sheet of plastic which is substantially impermeable to liquid, a second such sheet and a core layer bonding the sheets together and comprising a film of plastic which is the residue of a polymeric liquid composition, and a migrating antibacterial agent dispersed throughout the antibacterial sheet material, the agent having migrated from the polymeric liquid composition through the base sheet and second sheet after bonding. One of the outer sheets may be omitted. A reinforcing element of woven fabric or scrim may be employed.
