Abstract

1,168,377. Coachwork for mobile cranes. SCHWERMASCHINENBAU S.M. KIROW VEB. 29 April, 1968, No. 20199/68. Heading B8B. The hoisting and luffing motors 10 of a railway crane are enclosed by coachwork arranged in sections 6 which are hinged upwards about pivots 5 to provide ready access to the motors for servicing. The sections are held in their raised position by struts 7 with pin and slot connections 8. Hinged sections may be provided on both sides of the motors and access is possible directly from the operator's cab.
