Abstract

1,168,124. Separating liquid particles from vapour. COMBUSTION ENG., Inc. 15 Sept., 1967 [28 Sept., 1966], No. 42257/67. Heading B1T. [Also in Division F4] A vapor-liquid separator 68 of a steam generator comprises passages 76 leading to a vortex chamber 78 from which the separated liquid escapes through orifices 82, the separated vapour escaping through passages 94 each having associated therewith a drier 104. comprising parallel corrugated members 112. The liquid separated in driers 104 collects in channel 124 and is delivered to the outer edge of a plate 72 for return to the water space of the generator.
