Abstract

1,166,325. Anti-creep devices for teat cups. J. P. McANDREW. 4 May, 1967, No. 20872/67 Heading AIM. An anti-creep adapter for use with a teat cup inflation comprises a cylindrical body portion 14 having a central bore and upper and lower flanges 16, 17, the lower flange being readily insertable in and removed from the inflation so that vertical movement of an inturned flange 9 of the inflation is limited by the flanges 16, 17. A notch 18 is formed in the lower flange to facilitate insertion of the adapter into the inflation, and a sight opening 20 provided in the upper flange 16. The edge of the upper flange may be serrated. The upper flange may be flat as shown or convex or concave corresponding to the shape of the upper part (6) of the inflation. The bore of the adapter may be upwardly or downwardly tapered.
