[Also in Division H1] An electrical component, e.g. a selenium bridge rectifier, has its contact plates (4), (5) provided with strip form connecting lugs 4a, (5a) for insertion into holes 9 in circuit board 8, the lugs having obtuse angled projections 4b such that when mounted the distance d is less than D to ensure that the component is firmly held during soldering. In Fig. 5 (not shown) the projections face away from each other so that (d<SP>1</SP>) is greater than (D<SP>1</SP>).
