Heading A5E..[Also in Division C2] A herbicidal composition contains a pyridazone derivative of the formula I wherein R<SP>1</SP> is a phenyl radical substituted by halogen or a trifluoromethyl or alkyl group and R<SP>2</SP> is chlorine or bromine, or R<SP>1</SP> is a cyclopentyl radical and R<SP>2</SP> is bromine, as active ingredient. The composition may be formulated with a solid or liquid carrier and it may be in the form of a solution, emulsion, suspension or dust.
