1,163,302. Once-through vapour generators; tube walls. BABCOCK & WILCOX Ltd. 26 Aug., 1966 [27 Aug., 1965], No. 37041/65. Headings F4A and F4B. In a once-through forced-flow vapour generator of the type disclosed in Specification 1,163,301, the wall tubes (not shown) of gas pass 2, are supported by a plurality of vertical support straps 12 attached at their lower ends at different levels to the wall tubes, and at their upper ends to compression springs 13, mounted on a supporting framework (not shown). The springs 13c, 13cc supporting the straps 12 attached to the upper part of the gas pass 2, also support through beams 16 U-shaped superheater tube platens 15.
