Abstract

1,163,019. Seats. D. SEBEL & CO. Ltd. 17 Jan., 1968 [12 Dec., 1966], No. 55655/66. Headings A4H and A4J. In a dismantlable seat pedestal, flanges 22 of legs 10, extending through slots 12 in tubular seat supporting column 1, are releasably retained therein by clamping between washers 14 and 16. The ends of the flanges 22 are stepped and interlinked with similar stepped flanges of another pair of perpendicular legs 10. Coach bolts 19 secure the washers 14 and 16, which have locating recesses (21). Detachable feet (11) are provided and may be fitted with castors. The seat and backrest of a posture chair are adjustably and releasably mounted on top of column 1.
