[Also in Division A1] A propagating unit comprises a pair of identically shaped dished members formed with locating means which inter-engage when one member is inverted over the other. The locating means comprises bosses 5 and holes 6 on a flange 4 on each member; drainage holes 8 are provided along outwardly projecting ridges 7. Moulded synthetic resin material is generally used, a transparent upper member being located over an opaque lower member containing the propagating material.
