Abstract
1,161,646. Retractive switches. ALBISWERK ZURICH A.G. 13 June, 1968 [6 July, 1967], No. 28106/68. Heading H1N. Longitudinal displacement, in the direction of the arrow, of rod 2 causes actuation of a switch 8 as the tapered and enlarged rod portion 4 acts on the switch operating member, and removal of the operating force, e.g. by opening a door, allows spring 3 to restore rod 2 until its shoulder 9 engages a bent leaf-spring 14, while rotation of rod 2 causes one end of a pin 6 to move spring 14 out of engagement with the shoulder 9 so that rod 2 can be moved by spring 3 beyond the spring 14, thereby causing actuation of switch 8 by the tapered and enlarged rod portion 15. Re-closing of the door allows spring 14 to move back to its latching position. Rod 2 actuates the levers of one or more microswitches 8 via spring-loaded rollers 20.
