Abstract

1,158,679. Toy construction kit. PARKER INDUSTRIES Ltd. 9 Nov., 1967 [9 Oct., 1967], No. 51035/67. Heading A6S. A toy construction kit comprises elements of two types, the first (Fig. 23) formed with a plurality of holes, 24, for connection by rods and/or nuts and bolts and the second (Figs. 7, 16) formed with co-acting projections, 26, and recesses, 27. Elements of the first type are formed with additional holes, 25, adapted to receive either the projections or elements of the second type, or separate pegs (Fig. 9) adapted in art to engage in the recesses 27. Elements of the second type may be formed with holes, 28, arranged to coincide with the holes, 24, of the first elements. The holes 28 and 24 may be of equal diameter. The elements of the first type may also be formed with additional slots, 49, and notches, 50, so that the elements may be connected together without the aid of rods and/or nuts and bolts.
