Pistons; piston packing.-In a piston for an internal-combustion engine, the packing-rings and the annuli separating them are bevelled at 1, 2 respectively to prevent the passage of lubricant to the combustion chamber. The edges 1 are cut at an angle of sixteen degrees, and the edges 2 at an angle of eight degrees.
