1,158,151. Bearings. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. 13 July, 1966 [16 July, 1965], No. 31501/66. Heading F2A. [Also in Division H1] A ball bearing 1, Fig. 1, for a shaft, is supported in a housing 2 by means of a resilient ring 6 which is mounted on an integral collar 3 of the housing 2. The integral collar 3 has three equiangularly-spaced radial bores 4 therein, each of which receives a ball 5, Fig. 2. The resilient ring 6 has extensions 7, each of which urges a ball 5 into engagement with the bearing 1.
