Abstract

1,156,710. Wells &c. J. CASLAKE Ltd. 17 Nov., 1967 [17 Nov., 1966], No. 51493/66. Heading E1F. A casing centralizer has collars 10 comprising two parts detachably and/or pivotably connected, and blades 11 secured to the collars. The ends 18 of the blades engage in slots 16 in the collars and are held in place by bending lugs 17 on strips 19 welded to the collars. In a modification the strips are each replaced by a single rivet welded to the collar and passing through a hole in the blade.
