1,156,755. Opening roofs. HYMER K.G. FAHRZEUGBAU. 18 Dec., 1967 [31 Dec., 1966], No. 57354/67. Heading B7B. The cover 5 which closes a roof opening 1 is connected by triangular levers at 11, 12 to pivots L on the fixed roof part raising and lowering being effected by axial movement of the thrust-rods 16, 15 by means of the handoperated screw and nut mechanism 17, 18. A resilient lip 4 around the roof opening forms a seal with the underside of the cover 5 in its closed position.
