Abstract

1,156,095. Spanners. K.MAICHEN. 7 June, 1967, No. 26370/67. Heading B3N. An adjustable spanner 1 comprises a channel member 1<SP>1</SP> having an aperture 2 at one end providing two spanner faces 4, 4<SP>1</SP>, and the leg 8 of an open spanner at the other end, a member 6 slidable in the channel, and having faces 7, 7<SP>1</SP> which form part of the spanner, and leg 8<SP>1</SP> of the open spanner. A dovetailed slide 16 is transversely movable in a groove 17 in member 6, and carries an eccentric pin 11, rotatable by a nut 13. Graduations are provided on a disc 14 of pin 11, which co-operate with marks on member 1<SP>1</SP>, so as to indicate the setting of the spanners when nut and pin 13, 11 are rotated.
