1,153,669. Cushions. G. E. GLINTZ. 4 Dec., 1967, No. 55098/67. Heading A4M. [Also in Division A5] A device for drying a person's hair comprises a cushion member on which the person's head may be rested, the cushion member including an internal chamber 38 below an apertured upper wall 36, there being an inlet 46 to the chamber whereby hot air may be supplied to the chamber and there being a slot-like opening 44 in the upper wall of the cushion member so that the hot air, which passes on to the person's hair through the apertures in the upper wall, may also pass through the slot-like opening where it may enter a hair drying hood 12. The cushion member includes a resilient foamed layer 54 on the apertured upper wall 36 and deflectors 50, 58 to control the hot air stream. A perforated and washable flexible cover is removably fitted around the cushion member. The hot air is provided through a flexible conduit from an electrical heater and blower assembly (66) supported on a stand (60).
