1,150,813. Bathtub support. GUSTAVSBERGS FABRIKER A.B. 24 Feb., 1967, No. 8828/67. Heading A4N. A device with a foot bracket 7 for supporting a metal bathtub 2 made of bent sheet material comprises a supporting element 1 of sheet material which is substantially channel-shaped, the extreme edges 5 of its flanges 3 being welded to the bathtub body and to a web 4 provided with a perforation receiving the foot bracket. A hollow indentation 6 is provided at the centre portion of the extreme edges 5. The web structure 4 has an extension which is substantially perpendicular to the vertical axis of the bath tub. The foot bracket is of tubular shape and has an upper portion 8 of less diameter than the lower portion 10. The foot bracket is externally threaded, and mounted at 8 by an internally threaded sleeve nut 9 and at the lower portion 10 by an internally threaded sleeve 11. The sleeve 11 is suitably shaped with external longitudinal ribs 12 for setting the bathtub at a desired level. The device is suitably made of plastic material.
