Abstract

1,148,960. Rolling. MANNESMANNMEER A.G. 17 July, 1967 [17 Aug., 1966], No. 32710/67. Heading B3M. A rolling head 1, suitable for finishing a T- sectioned workpiece 2, includes four freely rotatable rollers, the upper and lower ones being respectively adjustable vertically by means of a screw 7 and an eccentric shaft. The lateral rollers each includes two relatively axially adjustable parts 10 and 11 carried on an inclined shaft 9. Springs 8 and 13 protect the head against overloads. The head can be reciprocated in the direction of the workpiece axis.
