Abstract
1,146,620. Moulds for foodstuffs. REXALL DRUG & CHEMICAL CO. 25 March, 1966 [29 March, 1965], No. 13346/66. Heading A4A. A mould for mouldable material comprises (a) a mould portion having side walls which taper inwardly towards one open end and define an enclosure open at both ends, and (b) an end-closure of flexible resilient material attachable to the smaller end of the mould portion to form a moisture-tight seal therewith, the closure being removable outwardly from the smaller end of the mould portion. The larger end of the mould portion may also be provided with a removable end-closure which may be in the form of a tray which acts as a combined end-closure and serving member (see Fig. 3). The mould member may engage with the end-closure by means of an upstanding flange on the periphery of the mould member and a co-operating U-shaped groove in the end-closure. The mould portion may be made of a stiff plastics material and it may be provided with a plurality of interchangeable endclosures of differing configurations so constituting a kit for making up a mould.
