Abstract

1,146,322. Variable-speed friction gears. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 9 March, 1966 [9 March, 1965], No. 2120/67. Divided out of 1,146,321. Heading F2D. The subject-matter is identical with that of the parent Specification but the claims are directed to the mounting and control of the rollers (22, 23) by the hydraulic piston units (36) such that the change in ratio angle is directly related to the amount of tangential shift.
