Abstract
1,146,378. Weighing apparatus. MIKROWA FEIN-UND SCHNELLWAAGEN A.G. April 19, 1967 [April 28, 1966 ], No.17928/67. Heading G1W. Weighing apparatus which may comprise a weigh pan 4 supported at one end of a pivotally mounted beam 1 supporting a counterweight 5 is provided with a weight indicating scale 6 which is arranged to be projected on to a screen 13, the scale being provided with a plurality of columns of weight indicia, the indicia in adjacent columns being offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the columns, and the screen being provided with three parallel elongate zones 16, 17, 18, the width of the central zone 16 being narrower than the others and of a width substantially corresponding to the projected height of each of the weight indicia. The zones 17, 18 which may be of a colour different from the zone 16 may be separated from the zone 16 by lines 15. The screen which may be provided with lines 19 extending transversely of the elongate zones to facilitate the reading of weight values may be bordered by an opaque region.
