Abstract

Heading B1B A catalyst-carrying body comprises a ceramic catalyst carrier having a plurality of longitudinally extending channels and prepared by an extrusion process (see Specification 1139827). The channels may be polygonal as shown or circular. The catalyst may be applied to the carrier walls or may be incorporated in the ceramic material prior to extrusion.
