Abstract

1,142,884. Domestic hot water storage tanks. IMPETUS BUILDING COMPONENTS Ltd. 30 Oct., 1967 [30 July, 1966], No. 34325/66. Heading F4A. A domestic, hot-water storage tank comprises an inner container 1 of plastics material such as flexible polypropylene, a rigid outer container 2 of, for example, aluminium, thermal insulation 3 of foamed polyurethane, felt or glass fibre therebetween and at least one conduit 4 leading from the inner container to the exterior of the outer container. The tank also has an immersion heater 12 and an outlet 5 extending through an apertured lid 6. For method of assembly and minor details of construction, the Specification should be referred to.
