Abstract

1,142,289. Garment suspenders. U. AKESSON-RYDIN. 15 May, 1967 [17 May, 1966], No. 22364/67. Heading E2B. A fastening device comprises a locking member 1 having a head 7 and spaced discs 5, 6 on a pin portion 4, an engagament member 3 with which the locking member 1 is adapted to cooperate, and a holder member 2, in which the locking member 1 is mounted and retained by the discs 5, 6, with the pin portion 4 passing through a portion 11 of an opening 8 in the holder member 2. In use, the members 2 and 3 are attached to a suspender port 17, and a portion of a stocking to be fastened is placed over the head 7 and clamped thereon by the member 3. The member 1 is then moved towards the slot 15 in the member 3, so that in the fastened position the pin 4 lies in the portion 13 of the slot 8.
