Abstract

1,142,020. Fuel tanks. VAUXHALL MOTORS Ltd. 27 July, 1967 [27 Oct., 1966], No. 48239/66. Heading B7H. [Also in Divisions B8 and F2] A fuel tank filler pipe assembly comprises a plastics filler pipe 1 having one end inserted into an aperture of the fuel tank 3, a seal being obtained by means of a neoprene 0-ring 6. The outer end extends through the vehicle body 7, and is sealed by a resilient plastics snap-on filler cap 11 made of softer material than the pipe and retained by a flexible strap 12 connected to a grommet 13.
