A flat plastics container Fig. 1, having openings A-A in each lower corner to facilitate folding, is formed into a square or rectangular bottom bag, Fig. 4, having triangular flaps 7, 7<SP>1</SP>, the walls of which are glued or heat sealed together and either cut off or folded and sealed against the side 10 or against the bottom 12 of the bag.
