Abstract
1,141,538. Niobium carbide. UNION CARBIDE CORP. 20 May, 1966 [27 May, 1965], No. 22435/66. Addition to 1,069,561. Heading C1A. [Also in Division C7] The product of the solid state reaction of calcined niobium oxide with carbon contains 70 to 87% by weight of niobium, at least 80% of which is in the form of niobium carbide, and not more than 0À17% oxygen, the balance being essentially carbon.
