Abstract
1,141,431. Combined sink and shower unit. H. MARSCHALL [trading as MARSCHALL K.G.]. 11 Aug., 1967 [5 May, 1967], No. 37072/67. Heading A4N. A combined sink and shower unit comprises (a) a cabinet unit I closed at the top by a sink basin 1 fitted with a hot and cold mixed tap unit 2 and a hand shower 3 attached to a flexible pull out hose, in which unit I may be situated an electric storage water heater, a pump and the associated piping and wiring; which heater and pump are controlled by control panel 4 and its associated knobs 5 and 6 and (b) a cabinet unit II which shares rear wall 9 with said unit I, and whose top forms a draining board 12 for the unit I (Fig. 1). In the open position cabinet II (Fig. 2) consists of a rear wall formed from the hinged walls 9, 11 and 12; a fixed wall 14; a U-shaped rod 16, pivotally mounted on wall 11 on which rod can be hung a shower curtain (Fig. 3, not shown); and a shower tray 19 pivotally mounted inside a drawer 10 which forms the base member for unit II. In the closed position rod 16 and tray 19 fold into the cabinet II.
