Abstract

1,141,389. Clips. COROCRAFT Ltd. 28 Oct., 1966, No. 48503/66. Heading E2B [Also in Division A3] An integral spring clip comprises two arms 1,2 moulded from plastics material and pivoted together by a flexible portion 3, a lug 9 integral with the arm 1 projects through a slot in the arms and cooperates with a spring tongue 10 extending into the slot from the arm 2 whereby the tongue resiliently engages a surface 13 of the lug and rides over a curved edge 14 during closure of the clip and in clamping position engages a curved surface 12 of the lug. The tongue is moulded integrally with the arm or comprises a steel strip secured to the arm. The arm 1 has a circular pad 4 with a recess 5 and the arm 2 has an indented pad 6.
