A miniature electric battery lamp which can be attached to, e.g. a key ring consists of a two-part casing 5, 6, the part 5 having a recess 7 with a side channel 8 in which is a bulb holder 13 connected to a contact plate 12 in the recess 7 and the part 6 having an aperture through which a battery 16 can be pressed down by the finger against the action of a spring 18 to bring it into contact with a pin 15 connected to the base contact of the bulb.
