1,035,329. Printing machines. KLEENEWEFERS G.m.b.H., [trading as JOH. KLEINEWEFERS SOHNE]. Dec. 19, 1963 [Feb. 2, 1963], No. 50135/63. Heading B6C. A rotary machine for the continuous printing of textile materials and comprising an endless rubber print blanket 13 mounted on a backing cylinder 3 rotatably mounted between two uprights 1, 2 is characterized in that such a distance is provided between the two uprights that on axial displacement of the cylinder together with a housing 7, 8 for each of the two bearings of the cylinder shaft into a position in which the cylinder is in abutting contact with the upright 2, a space is formed between the upright 1 and the end of the bearing housing 7 so that the rubber print blanket may be drawn through the space when it is desired to remove it from, or fix it to, the cylinder. In order to move the cylinder a shifting bolt 10, to which the cylinder is secured when necessary, is displaceable in the upright 1. Alternatively, a bar is fitted in a bore in each upright and the cylinder is secured to a sliding sleeve or rolling device slidable along the bar.
