Abstract

A composition comprises a polyolefin, e.g. polyethylene, of M.W. 4000 to 12,000 and a copolymer of an olefin with a vinyl ester, e.g. an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. Optional ingredients are paraffin wax, polyterpene resins and slip agents such as oleyl amide or acetylated monoglyceride. The products find application in coating paper especially in the production of lenticulated pictures.ALSO:Paper is coated with a composition of a polyolefin of m.w 4000 to 12,000 and a copolymer of an olefin with a vinyl ester, e.g. polyethylene + an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. Optional ingredients are paraffin wax, polyterpene resins and slip agents such as oleyl amide. The product finds application in the production of lenticulated pictures.
