Abstract

1,033,036. Discharging static electricity. MARCO Inc. Jan. 21, 1965 [April 3, 1964], No. 2766/65. Heading H1X. The discharge points 41 of a static electricity discharger are integral parts of members 27 which hold the points in spaced positions along a bar 20, the points being surrounded except at their tips by a dielectric material 40. The channel-shaped casing 15 is provided with supporting lugs 18 and 19 for connection to ground, and the bar 20 is connected via conductor 21 to a transformer. The bar 20 may be of brass and is supported in the casing 15 by plastic blocks 23. The material 40 is preferably an epoxy resin.
