Abstract

1,033,082. Endless conveyers. E. K. MAXTED, and W. J. MAXTED. March 19, 1963 [March 20, 1962], No. 10648/62. Heading B8A. The single chain of an endless conveyer is capable of horizontal and vertical pivotal movement about pins 12 and pins 14 respectively and has pairs of side rollers 15 which are guided by vertical plates 21. Side brackets 17 are secured together by bars and tubes 20 which also locate the plates 21. Slats S are mounted on channel section members 13 which carry the rollers 15 and are supported at their ends by rollers 25 which run on track plates 18, 19 on the side brackets 17. In a modification, Figs. 4, 5 (not shown), the ends of the slats are corrugated to run on a track, e.g. a nylon rail, mounted on the brackets 17.
