Abstract

A needle bar segment for a comb cylinder is formed entirely of needle bars and is connected to the body of the comb only through the end needle bars. Each needle bar 7 is connected to the next bar by screws 8 arranged in staggered relationship. The first and last bars 7a, 7b are bolted to brackets 3, 4 which are in turn bolted to the comb body 2. Radial adjustment of the bars is possible.
