1,030,690. Milling-cutters. W. ZORN. Dec. 28, 1962 [Jan. 8, 1962], No. 48767/62. Heading B3K. A hob comprises cutting blades secured in slots in a body by conically-dished rings at each end of the body. The blade-roots fit tightly into the body and seat on raised portions 8. The dished, end locking-rings 11 engage conical surfaces on the blades. The end of the body 1 may also be conical. A hard-setting resin 14 may be inserted between the ring 11 and the blades. The rings 11 may be shrunk on or locked by pins or wedges.
