Abstract

1,030,594. Electrostatic precipitators. METALLGESELLSCHAFT A.G. April 21, 1965 [April 24, 1964], No. 16834/65. Heading B2J. The discharge electrodes 6 of an electrostatic precipitator are carried by frames 5 attached by hemispherical joints to an intermediate frame 4 which is composed of angle sections 1, cross members 2 and struts 3 and rapped by hammers 11. Each frame 5 is provided with a pair of horizontal tubular supports 16 each having a flange 17 which is bolted over a hemispherical head 15, Fig. 3 (not shown) welded to the respective angle section 1.
