Abstract
1,030,556. Clip applicators. M. E. BROWN. Aug. 17,1964, No. 33511/64. Heading A5R. A clip holder and applicator 30 comprises arms 32, 34 joined by deformable bail 36, and has grooves 38 and abutments 40 for retaining the clip in position. The holder is also provided with abutments 46 and 48 for limiting the displacement of arms 32, 34 when they are pressed together to force the clip arms together and thus join the tissue intended to be joined. The applicator may be made of polyacrylate, polystyrene, cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate-butyrate, polyvinyl chloride or polyvinyl acetate.
