Abstract

1,029,247. Rail pads. KINS DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. Sept. 21, 1962 [Aug. 18, 1961], No. 29878/61. Addition to 854,063. Heading E1G. A rail pad of natural or synthetic rubber is formed with grooves 11 and with lugs 15 spaced along the edges of its upper face, a reinforcement 16 of metal or glass fibre material being embedded in the pad and optionally perforated or extended into the lugs 15. The grooves stop short of the ends of the pad which are curved as shown in Fig. 1.
