Abstract

1,029,110. Rotary-scythe mowers. H. C. WEBB & CO. Ltd. Feb. 1, 1963 [Feb. 1, 1962], No. 29729/65. Divided out of 1,010,481. Heading A1F. In a rotary-scythe lawn-mower having a body including a skirt around the cutter and wherein the motor is mounted fixedly on the body and has a pendant output shaft, the cutter is mounted co-axially with the output-shaft and is drivingly connected to it by a coupling, such as splines, which allows axial movement of the cutter relative to the body. The machine is otherwise similar to that described in Specification 1,010,481.
