Abstract

1,028,519. Fluid-pressure servomoter systems. KARLSTADS MEKANISKA WERKSTAD A. B. April 15, 1964 [April 29, 1963], No. 15563/64. Heading G3P. [Also in Divisions B7 and F1] The runner blades 7 of a hydraulic turbine, pump or propeller are actuated by a servopiston 6 in the runner hub and connected by tubes 35, 36 to a valve element 14 which carries a position indicator 37 and is slidable in a valve element 15 itself formed with a servopiston 16 controlled by a valve 20. The lower, smaller-area, surface of the piston 16 is continuously subject to pressure oil supplied through a conduit 18 and the valve 20 controls the pressure above the piston, a floating lever followup member 25 being connected between the piston 16 and the valve 20 and being acted upon by an input cam 27. On movement of the piston 16 and valve element 15 the piston 6 moves until parts 33, 34 in the valve element 14 are brought into register with lands 31, 32 on the element 15.
