1,027,641. Washers; joint-making packing. E. EAST & SON (MANUFACTURING) Ltd. Feb. 4, 1963 [Feb. 22, 1962], No. 6948/62. Headings F2B and F2H. A flexible sealing washer comprises a hollow cylindrical body 1 for reception of a bolt or pin, an encircling, dished flange 2 and an integrally formed annular ring 4 of tapered cross-section encircling the body and extending within the flange, the flange having two different radii of curvature in different axial planes. The dished flange has a thickened periphery 3 which is rhomboidal having major or minor axes in the perpendicular, axial planes.
