Abstract

1,024,010. Chain hoists. HEINRICH DE FRIES G.m.b.H. Jan. 27, 1965 [Jan. 29, 1964], No. 3693/65. Heading B8B. A hand-operated chain hoist incorporates an adjustable slipping clutch 10, 11 of conical form in the drive between the hand-actuated ratchet wheel 9 and the drive shaft 2. The slip-ring 11 of synthetic resin or other non-corrosive material is adjusted axially by a nut 15 on the driven member 10 having a locking-pin 16 to hold the nut in the adjusted position.
