[Also in Division H2] To obtain access to the non-driving end of a shaft of an electric motor a hole is provided in a dished plate 5 and is closed by a removable plug 7 secured by bayonet action against a spring ring 9, Fig. 2 (not shown). The plug 7 has a cross pin 8 (for passing through slots 6<SP>1</SP> cut in the plate 5) and can be turned, by means of its ribs 10, until the pin 8 abuts a lug 6<SP>11</SP> as in Fig. 3 to hold the plug in the hole.
