Abstract
1,019,781. Derivatives of p-aminosalicyl- (aminoalkyl)amides. SOC. D'ETUDES SCIENTIFIQUES ET INDUSTRIELLES DE L'ILEFRANCE. April 27, 1964, No. 17338/64. Heading C2C. Compounds of formula wherein A is H or alkyl, n is 2 or 3, X is amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino or acylamino, Y is halogen, nitro or any group listed for X, one of the CH 2 groups may be replaced by CHR 5 and R 1 , R 2 and R 5 are C 1-5 alkyl or -NR 1 R 2 may form a heterocyclic ring; are prepared by esterifying p-aminosalicylic acid, acylating the amino group, alkylating the OH group (unless A=H), introducing group Y, reacting the ester group with NH 2 (CH 2 ) n NR 1 R 2 and (unless X= acylamino) hydrolysing the acylamino group, with optional alkylation of the product.
