Abstract
1,016,588. Electric motor accessories. AMF ELECTRICA S.p.A. July 2, 1963, No. 26272/63. Heading H2A. An electromagnetic starter relay which is directly coupled by a plug-and-socket 14 ... 17 to the casing of a 1 ph. electric motor 18, e.g. of a refrigerating or other domestic electrical appliance, is provided with two extremely accessible terminals 23, 26, respectively connected through the relay operating winding 11 and a fixed contact 24 engageable by the relay moving contact 12 to two sockets 14, 15 (or plugs) in order to permit a condenser C connected to the terminals to be serially connected with the energizing circuit of the motor starter winding 20 which is fed through the socket 15, the terminals 23, 26 alternatively being directly interconnected by a conductor 27 when the condenser is not required. A thermal protecting device 22 may be connected between the supply 21 and the common point of the running and starting windings 19, 20.
