Abstract
1,013,650. Poles for dynamo-electric machines. ALLIS-CHALMERS MANUFACTURING CO. Sept. 24, 1963 [Sept. 26, 1962], No. 37531/63. Heading H2A. Salient poles consist of stacks of laminae which are secured together by studs 23 in the pole-shank, these studs being of magnetic material, so as not to impede the flux, and cast aluminium pole-face windings 28 which are integral with end-plates 28 into which the studs 23 are embedded during casting.
