1,013,082. Tunnels &c. GYPOX Ltd. and COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd. Nov. 5, 1964 [Aug. 9, 1963], No. 31644/63. Heading E1F. A cavity 13 in a mine or like working is sealed A cavity 13 in a mine or like working is sealed by erecting at the mouth a facing structure of fire resistant panels 17 and pumping into the cavity hardenable aqueous slurry 19 containing calcium sulphate plaster. As shown the slurry is foamed to form an aerated mass, but in a modification only the part of the cavity adjacent the panels contains the mass which may contain light-weight or other aggregate.
