Abstract

A night-light or like slow-burning candle is made by applying to a preformed wax body provided with a wick an outer casing of synthetic plastics material, for example polyvinyl chloride, which is formed directly on to the wax body to provide a container therefor, for example by drawing a softened sheet of the material about the body by suction.
